Founded by Joseph Kramer, a body based sex educator, orgasmic yoga is a branch of erotic yoga that focuses on practices that can be done while sexually aroused.

On the main website it says of the practice:

Orgasmic Yoga often produces a state of arousal that is free of fantasy, unfinished emotional business, religious dogma, cultural caveats and habitual sexual behaviours. In this erotic trance state, an individual becomes aware of the body as a source of wisdom, happiness and freedom.

Weaving together the heart and genitals, orgasmic yoga is practiced to help people discover what really and truly arouses them. Participants attempt to stray from artificial turn-ons, or turn-ons that are influenced by other outside factors. Some are drawn to the practice because they want to reawaken sexual feelings, while others do it to discover those feelings for the first time.

To fully embrace orgasmic yoga, it is recommended that you follow a plan of practicing 30 minutes for 30 days. Lee says this commitment is important because “getting out of your head and into your body” takes the full 30 days.

Orgasmic Yoga is a lesson in how to rekindle the relationship between you and your sexuality.

Some people find it difficult to “get off” themselves without the use of external aids like pornography, so hopefully erotic yoga can help you recognize what your potential for pleasure is.

So, while the first step is discerning what gives you the coveted authentic sexual pleasure, the second step would be communicating what really gets you going to your partner.
