Aliens May Already Have Visited us, and Not all UFO Sightings can be Explained Says NASA Scientist

A NASA scientist has openly spoken out about alien life and the possibility of alien visitation in a recent study published online. A Researcher from the Nasa Ames Research Center has slammed fellow scholars because they continue ‘ignoring the relevance’ of UFO sightings

The new scientific paper published by Silvano P. Colombano from the Nasa Ames Research Center argues that many UFO sightings deserve to be taken seriously, and should not be dismissed like nearly all sightings are.

Silvano P. Colombano also explained that not all UFO sightings can be explained or denied, and aliens may already have visited Earth, without us even noticing it.

Furthermore, the researcher explains that aliens may look totally different then what we imagine them, and they may have developed extremely advanced technology that allows them to travel great distances, and we most likely can’t even grasp their technological level of advancement.

“I simply want to point out the fact that the intelligence we might find and that might choose to find us (if it hasn’t already) might not be at all be produced by carbon-based organisms like us,” Professor Colombano, of Nasa’s Ames Research Centre in California, wrote.

“How might that change the above assumptions about interstellar travel? Our typical life-spans would no longer be a limitation (although even these could be dealt with multi-generational missions or suspended animation), and the size of the ‘explorer’ might be that of an extremely tiny super-intelligent entity.”

To understand what alien technology may look like we need not look towards our current technology, but try to imagine how technological advancement can progress through millions of years.

Professor Colombano explains that aliens living elsewhere in the universe could inhabit exoplanets much older than earth, which means that their technology was developed through millions of years of progress.

“Considering further that technological development in our civilization started only about 10,000 years ago and has seen the rise of scientific methodologies only in the past 500 years, we can surmise that we might have a real problem in predicting technological evolution even for the next thousand years, let alone 6million times that amount,” the professor explained in the paper.
“Even if the speed of light continues to be an unbreakable barrier, over spans of thousands of years civilizations could probably make interstellar journeys,” professor Colombano added.

And everything the researchers from NASA’s Ames Research Centre in California presented makes a lot of sense.
Aliens living on distant exoplanets located hundreds of light years away could have progressed through a technological advancement we on Earth can’t even think of.

Aliens living on distant exoplanets in the universe could be either Type II or Type III civilizations according to the Kardashev scale, which is a method of measuring a civilization’s level of technological advancement based on the amount of energy a civilization is able to use.
